Recognizing Suffield Teacher of the Year Joe Grimard
In selecting Joe for this honor, his peers highlighted his transformative work with the Outdoor Learning Lab. SFES can attest to this as well: Joe recently secured an SFES grant to establish the “Homestead,” where students create, maintain, harvest, and process the yields of a 1800s New England homestead. Joe envisioned a sustainable, innovative learning experience designed not only for Suffield High School students, but for the broader district and community to observe, engage with, and learn alongside.
