Sidewalk Chalk Contest          Saturday, May 19, 2012 10:00am – 12:30pm

McAlister Intermediate School Parking Lot, Suffield CT.

Judging is based on creativity, originality, skill and use of color.

One winner in each of the following categories will receive a prize:
Grades K–2, 3– 5, 6–8, 9–12 and adults.

Sidewalk Chalk Art Contest Rules
Artists should bring their own chalk. Additional chalk can be bought on site. Artists can begin working on their panel at 10 a.m. and must complete their work by 12 p.m. A panel is a parking lot space. The awards will be presented at 12:30 p.m. Decisions of the judges are final. Art must be family-friendly: No nude or lewd artwork, No stenciling. No political or commercial advertising statements are allowed. Only solid, non-toxic pastels (chalk) can be used. Digital photos/video may be taken and used for publicity purposes. SFES has the right to disqualify and /or remove any inappropriate art or writings, as they may deem necessary.

International Cooking Lessons

Fun was had by all and the food was yummy.  We are already planning what we will do next year.  A great big thank you to Ann Kelly and all the cooks who made the day a great big success.
